James 3:13

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.

The goodness of God.

Good morning beautiful people. As I have been in the presence of the Lord, I keep seeing how it is His goodness, grace and mercy that has kept me alive thus far. Many of my family members and childhood friends are no longer alive. I know I will see some of them in heaven but I also know some did not and will not make it. I tell you the truth, the moment the Lord explains to you, that everyone in your family may not make it into heaven and some of the people you have met on your job, in passing but most of all in the church building and online ministries will not make it to heaven. It truly saddens me. I mean, my God, everyone who says Lord, Lord will not inherit the Kingdom of God. This is disturbing. However, we are to work out our own soul salvation with fear and trembling. Which means my salvation, cannot guarantee, my children’s or grandchildren’s salvation. My God, soul winning is the goal and God made sure to make it personal for me when the first soul I had to win was my late dear mother’s soul. Heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents. Hallelujah.

Philippians 2:1-2 (New International Version)

Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.

1 Peter 3:8 (New International Version)

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (The Message)

2 Corinthians 5:17 (The Message)

Because of this decision we don’t evaluate people by what they have or how they look. We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life emerges! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he’s already a friend with you

Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 (The Message)

Isaiah 43:16, 18-19 (The Message)

This is what God says, the God who builds a road right through the ocean, who carves a path through pounding waves, The God who summons horses and chariots and armies— they lie down and then can’t get up; they’re snuffed out like so many candles: “Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands. Wild animals will say ‘Thank you!’ —the coyotes and the buzzards— Because I provided water in the desert, rivers through the sunbaked earth, Drinking water for the people I chose, the people I made especially for myself, a people custom-made to praise me.

Hannah’s Prayer

1 Samuel 2:1

Hannah’s Prayer

Hannah prayed: “The Lord has filled my heart with joy; how happy I am because of what he has done! I laugh at my enemies; how joyful I am because God has helped me!
